A Grand Treasure

A Grand Treasure

READ: Ephesians 3:8-11

Ephesians 3:8-11 (KJV)
8  Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
9  And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
10  To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
11  According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

KEY THOUGHT:

People have been hunting for treasure since time began. Sometimes the treasure is real and sometimes it’s imaginary. Some people spend there lives in search of buried treasure or sunken pirate ships. Others spend a lot of their time searching for treasure in the dungeons of video games. Either way, there’s always the hope of finding a grand treasure. There is a grand and real treasure of riches that’s unsearchable—it’s the riches found in Jesus. His treasure is available but cannot be found through traditional treasure hunting schemes. It’s a grand treasure that is obtained only through the Word of God as it is read, preached, taught, learned and lived out.

CONSIDER:

  1. What kind of treasure are you searching for in life?
  2. What are some ways that you can discover the unsearchable riches of Christ?
  3. List some treasures found in Jesus Christ.

APPLICATION:

Discover the treasure that awaits you in the unsearchable riches of Christ.
