KEY THOUGHT:
A household is a dwelling place shared with others who have similar relationships. As a Christian, you are part of the household of God, with a relationship to God as your Father, to the Holy Spirit who guides you, and to the Son of God, Jesus Christ who saves you. You also have a relationship with fellow citizens—other Christians who are your brothers and sisters in Christ. As a member of the household, you must live and serve together to please God.
CONSIDER:
- Describe how you fit into the household of God.
- How can members of a household avoid conflicts with one another?
- What is your most important duty as a member of the household of God?
APPLICATION:
Use God’s Word and the church to get to know the members of your new household in the family of God!
