Ephesians 2:6-9 (KJV)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

KEY THOUGHT:
As a member of God’s family, you have a new place to reside—an eternal residence in Heaven. It’s a special residence that God provides. It’s not something you can build. It’s yours because of the great salvation that comes through the gift of Jesus Christ. You don’t deserve it; you cannot earn it. It’s yours only because of God’s grace!
CONSIDER:
- As a Christian, where is your eternal residence?
- How did you get “the keys” to this new residence?
- What does it mean to receive a new residence by grace and not because you earned it?
APPLICATION:
Make the most of your new residence found in Jesus Christ, by His grace alone.
