KEY THOUGHT:
Being a Christian means that you are in a battle – one that is waged as part of a broader war between the world system and Christ. When you trust Christ as Savior, you become a member of His army – a soldier with a duty to defend what He brings to your life. To be a good soldier in the Lord’s army, you must endure the challenges that are common to this world. That’s possible when you separate yourself from the world and stay true to the call that Christ has on your life, by pleasing Him as your Commander-in-Chief. By doing so, you will be a good soldier of Jesus Christ!
