Ephesians 4:20-24 (KJV)
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

KEY THOUGHT:
At the time of salvation, you are miraculously changed in a spiritual way. After that you are to continue changing in a physical way by learning—specifically, learning Christ, which leads to a behavior change that provides evidence of your relationship with Him. Your new behaviors will reflect your better understanding of Christ. At the same time, your behaviors will become more Christ-like and less like the world.

- How does knowing Christ bring about change in your life?
- What are some ways that you can learn Christ?
- Think of 2 Corinthians 5:17—how does Christ change you and make you a new person?
APPLICATION:
Make learning Christ a priority so that you can grow in knowledge, understanding and behavior that is becoming of a member of the body of Christ.
