Be a Peaceful Sharer of Your Faith (2 Thessalonians 3:16-18)

READ: 2 Thessalonians 3:16-18

2 Thessalonians 3:16-18 (KJV)
16  Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
17  The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.
18  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

KEY THOUGHT:

One of the evidences of God’s presence in your life is peace. The apostle Paul told the church at Philippi that their relationship with God through Jesus Christ would bring them peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7). You should desire God’s peace in your life. You also should desire to share that peace with others. Just as Paul prayed for those in the early church to experience the peace of God, you should pray for others to have peace and share the gospel of peace with others. As Christ has given you peace, you should share peace with those you encounter.

CONSIDER:

  1. What does it mean to have the peace of God?
  2. How can you share God’s peace with others who need it?
  3. Describe how you know that God’s peace is with you.

APPLICATION:

Live peaceably with every member, sharing in the grace of God availed to the church.
