READ: Ephesians 5:3-7
Ephesians 5:3-7 (KJV)
3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

KEY THOUGHT:
There was yellow tape roped around the place. A painted yellow line on the pavement clearly marked the danger zone where a sinkhole had appeared abruptly in the middle if the street. Ignoring the tape or crossing the line would lead to an immediate plunge into a deep dark pit of unknown horror and certain disaster. Just like that sinkhole, sin is a deep dark pit. God puts warning signs in His Word to help you stay out of danger by walking a path set apart from sinful behavior. To stay safe, you must heed the danger signs and stay clear of the danger zone of sin.
CONSIDER:
- What does it mean for you to be set apart from sin?
- How does God warn you about the dangers of sinful behavior?
- List the things that Paul warns you about in today’s Scripture passage.
APPLICATION:
Set yourself apart to be a vessel prepared to do God’s will.
